Overview


Alto is a very small town located in the state of New Mexico. With a population of 1,158 people and just one neighborhood, Alto is the 105th largest community in New Mexico.

Alto real estate is some of the most expensive in New Mexico, although Alto house values don't compare to the most expensive real estate in the U.S.

Occupations and Workforce

Unlike some towns, Alto isn’t mainly white- or blue-collar. Instead, the most prevalent occupations for people in Alto are a mix of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Alto is a town of sales and office workers, professionals, and managers.
